Jim Terrell is a 4 time Olympic Canoeist and has won numerous
National Championship Titles. His passion for building the finest
competition paddles available today began at the age of 11 in his
father's garage in Milford, Ohio.
Jim has been
very involved over the years with scientific testing of paddle
mechanics, including under water high speed photography and strain gage
force analysis.

Not everybody who decides to try standup paddling decides to try the

The Kanaha standup paddle is named after the famous Kanaha surf break
on Maui. The Kanaha standup paddle gives you an extremely efficient and
durable blade. It features a slight dihedral on both sides of the
all-carbon blade, which improves stability along the longitudinal axis
during the power phase, meaning you don’t have to fight to keep the
blade from twisting as you paddle. The Kanaha blade also incorporates
an ABS plastic edge for improved impact strength. All of this
technology resides at the end of a smooth, lightweight carbon fiber
shaft, for a strong paddle that won’t fatigue your shoulders lifting it
