 Stand Up Paddle Board Lessons paddle 101 class is perfect for beginners

Do you live in, or are you visiting Fort Lauderdale? Either way you can enjoy all the water Fort Lauderdale has to offer with lessons from Florida Stand Up Paddle Boarding.com. Our lessons are popular with out of town visitors and end up being one of the highlights of their trip to Fort Lauderdale. Send us an email and we will get you out on the water, we utilize some great flat water paddle spots that have really clear water. Our students love our locations we use. We grew up in the Fort Lauderdale area and bring decades of water experience to our lessons.   

Our basic " Paddle 101" class, where we cover all the basics and no experience is needed. We will teach you: Equipment Overview, Safety and Awareness of the conditions, Balancing, Correct Stance, 4 different Paddle Strokes, Steering and Turning, Proper paddling form and more.

 The class lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and will introduce you to this fantastic sport. After our Paddle 101 class most people are ready to embark on their own and get out on the water to enjoy the SUP lifestyle. Paddle boarding has a much shorter learning curve than other board sports and many people can become quite proficient at the basics in a short period of time. We do recommend you that you do take a lesson to learn some valuable paddling techniques that will help you enjoy this sport in a safe manner.  

We have seen lots of paddlers making all kind of mistakes out paddling. Don't develop bad paddling habits that can hinder your ability to have fun and potentially cause injuries down the line. We will get you started learning the correct way to paddle and insure you have the best time possible out on the water.

We provide the board, paddle, PFD and safety equipment. We suggest you bring: towel, sunscreen and water, get ready to have some fun.

We offer very competitive rates and have some great instructors we work with.
